AI account rounding agent for insurance agencies
The Covera Agents account rounding agent finds single-line clients in the book, suggests the lines similar clients already hold, and drafts the outreach. The broker chooses, reviews and sends.
Covera Agents builds AI agents for insurance brokers. The account rounding agent works on the book the agency already has. After each successful sync of the book, it finds clients who hold a single line of coverage, suggests the lines the agency already places with similar clients, and prepares an outreach the broker can send.
Why rounding reviews rarely happen
Agencies know the opportunities are in the book: a business client with one policy while similar clients hold two or three, a client with property coverage and nothing else. Finding them means reading each account against its profile, and servicing work always comes first. The review gets postponed.
What the account rounding agent does
- It analyzes the book after each successful sync, and on demand. How fresh the data is depends on the connector or on the last export received.
- It sorts clients into single-line and multi-line, and scores each opportunity with a priority.
- It backs every suggestion with the agency's own book, never with a generic rule. Illustrative example, not a customer result: 9 of your 12 clients in this sector hold this line.
- It adds a dated reason when one exists: an upcoming renewal, a recent policy, a closed claim. A high priority always requires one.
- It drafts an outreach email, and one click starts a quote on the recommended line.
Recommendations and exclusions
The outreach message contains no price, discount, percentage or coverage promise, and an automatic check enforces it. Recommendations are never ticked by default: the broker chooses what to offer. The agent skips a client with no active policy, no contact details, an open unpaid premium, or unclassified policies that might already cover the line. A line is only suggested if the agency places it: by default, at least three active policies of that line in the book.
What the broker sees
Each client file shows the lines held, with the source policies, the recommendations to tick, and the dated reasons, each one opening the line of the book it comes from. Files move through four statuses: to offer, offered, dismissed and sold. A policy label the agent cannot read stays unclassified rather than guessed.
The broker decides
Nothing goes out automatically. The email is placed as a draft when a mailbox is connected, or shown for copy otherwise. A dismissed opportunity needs a reason and is never reopened by the next analysis. When the new line appears in the book after a sync, the file is marked as sold automatically.
Availability for US agencies
The coverage taxonomy and the outreach were built for the French market. For a US agency, account rounding is confirmed with Covera before activation.
Linked agents
The quote starts in the carrier quoting agent, already linked to the client of the book and to the recommended line. Open files of the past-due collections agent keep a client with an unpaid premium out of the list.
Data
The analysis uses the agency's synced book, the client's contact details and open unpaid premium files. Covera does not train any AI model on agency data.
