The quoting agent is the first agent every agency gets: it reads the documents of a file and builds a risk profile where every value cites the document it came from. That profile then feeds everything downstream: carrier portals, ACORD forms, certificates and quote comparison.
One risk profile instead of re-keying
Marketing a risk means typing the same facts into several carrier portals, each with its own screens and field names. The quoting agent consolidates those facts once. The broker uploads the files (applications, loss runs, schedules, emails saved as .msg or .eml, spreadsheets, photos) or picks them from a connected mailbox, and the agent returns the profile. Covera does not invent missing values: an extracted value points to its document, and values from other sources or typed by hand show where they come from. If no document can be read, the analysis fails rather than producing an invented profile.

- Each value with its source excerpt and document name, and a clear badge when it comes from elsewhere, such as the agency's book of business or a public property record.

How portal prefill works
The Covera Extranets browser extension reads the profile and fills the carrier's form screen by screen. It never submits: the broker checks, completes and submits. A value typed by hand in one portal can be sent back to the profile for the next one. On mapped portals the extension fills the fields itself; on portals not mapped yet, it offers a side panel to copy values without retyping.
US lines and agency software
The US catalog includes personal auto, homeowners, dwelling fire, commercial auto, trucking, general liability, BOP, commercial property, workers compensation, professional liability, cyber and umbrella. The file can be linked to a client of the agency book, read from EZLynx or Momentum (NowCerts). For property risks, Covera can add permits and building characteristics from public county records, each with its source, and says so when a source is unavailable.
From quotes to the next steps
Quotes captured from portals or uploaded by hand are attached to the file, and one click sends them to the quote comparison agent. From the same file, the broker can open a document collection agent file with the checklist of the product. Covera does not train any AI model on agency data.
