AI agents for Maia brokerage software

Covera Agents builds AI agents for insurance brokers. Maia is a French brokerage management software, and it is the most complete connection Covera runs in France: the agents read the agency's book every night, open Maia documents live, and can create a client record or a project in Maia when the broker asks for it.

What Covera reads in Maia

• Clients, companies and individuals: identity, contact details, address, SIRET and NAF code. Suppliers such as carriers are left out.
• Policies: status, cancellation date, payment frequency, carrier and product. Maia quotes are counted, not imported as policies.
• Claims, without the brokers' private notes or the identity of third parties.
• The Maia document store, read live when a file needs a document and never copied in bulk.

Premiums, receipts, commissions and separate contact persons are not read.

What Covera writes in Maia

Covera writes only from a quoting or comparison file, and only when the broker clicks. It can create a project on an existing client, marked with a COVERA reference, or create the client record and then the project. Covera never creates quotes or policies in Maia, never uploads documents, and never modifies or deletes anything. Nothing is written at night.

How the connection is set up

The agency creates an integration account dedicated to Covera in its Maia space and gives its written agreement, with a separate agreement for writing. The Covera team then sets up the connection: credentials are stored encrypted, a test read is reviewed before the first sync, and only then does the nightly sync start. There is no self-service form for Maia.

What it unlocks for the agents

The carrier quoting agent prefills a risk profile from the book and imports documents straight from Maia. The document collection agent opens a file for each new auto policy, with the checklist of its catalog; when the agency has set up its matching table, documents already found in Maia are marked as received, never as validated. The assistant answers questions on the synced book and can list and open a client's Maia documents.

Matching the right client

Covera never guesses an identity. A file is linked to a Maia client on proof: a known reference or an exact SIRET. A similar name only proposes candidates, and the broker confirms.

Limits

The book is refreshed once a night, while documents are read live. Records deleted in Maia are not deleted in Covera: they are counted as missing. For French brokerages, data is stored in the European Union, and Covera does not train any AI model on agency data.
