AI agents for Adhoc brokerage software

Covera Agents builds AI agents for insurance brokers. Adhoc, published by Custy, is a French brokerage software, often installed on the agency's own computers. For Adhoc, Covera has no direct connection: the book enters Covera through an export produced by the agency and imported by the Covera team.

Why an export and not a direct connection

Custy offers an API for Adhoc as a paid option. As long as the agency has not activated it, the export is the only way in. Covera has not built the API connection to date, so the export is how Adhoc agencies work with Covera today.

What Covera reads from the Adhoc export

• The policies export, required, which also carries the clients.
• The clients export, optional, which adds clients without a policy.
• Claims, through a one-off import by the Covera team.

Receipts and documents are not imported. Each client keeps its Adhoc identifier, so a new import updates the existing records instead of creating duplicates.

What Covera handles for you at import

Some Adhoc columns are easy to misread, and the import takes care of them: the policy status is read from the right column, the main renewal date is preferred over a less reliable one, and an end date does not cancel a fixed-term policy by mistake.

How it works in practice

The agency sends the complete export of its book, never a partial extract, since an import rewrites every line it covers. The Covera team runs a test import, reviews the result, then writes the book. The agency has no import screen: the export is a transition solution operated by Covera.

What it unlocks for the agents

The carrier quoting agent picks the client from the book and prefills the risk profile. The past-due collections agent, renewals and account rounding work on the imported policies. The assistant answers questions on the imported copy.

Edits made in Covera are kept

Contact details corrected on a client record in Covera, such as a phone number, an address or a note, are stored next to the imported book: the next import does not overwrite them, and the record shows both values with a way to restore the original. The client identity stays the one in Adhoc.

Limits

The book is as fresh as the last export. There is no live read, no document store access and nothing is ever written in Adhoc. A client created in Covera does not appear in Adhoc: create it in Adhoc, and it enters Covera at the next import. For French brokerages, data is stored in the European Union, and Covera does not train any AI model on agency data.
