AI agents for WhatsApp Business

Covera Agents connects the agency's WhatsApp Business number by QR code: reminders are prepared by the agents and sent on the broker's click, and a conversation can be imported into a file with its photos and documents.

Covera Agents builds AI agents for insurance brokers. After email, WhatsApp is the second channel of the agents: it is used to remind clients about unpaid premiums, missing documents or claims, and to bring a client conversation into a file as documents.

Nothing is sent without a click

When an agent prepares a reminder, it produces one message per active channel of the client: a draft in the mailbox, and a prepared WhatsApp message, since WhatsApp has no drafts. The broker reviews it, can edit the text, then clicks Send via WhatsApp and confirms. Nothing is ever sent automatically. Covera then follows the status: sent, delivered, read.

How the number is connected

An agency administrator opens Covera's settings and starts the WhatsApp Business connection. A QR code appears; on the phone that carries the agency's number, WhatsApp, Linked devices, scan. The screen then shows the number and account name. The phone must stay active: if the link drops, Covera pauses WhatsApp reminders and the QR code has to be scanned again.

Use a dedicated business number, not a colleague's personal WhatsApp: once connected, every member of the agency can read that number's conversations in the import picker.

What it unlocks for the agents

  • The past-due collections agent prepares reminders with the amount and period due.
  • The document collection agent prepares requests for missing documents, in the channel the client prefers.
  • The claims and account rounding agents prepare their messages the same way.
  • Import: the broker opens a conversation, selects messages, and Covera creates a readable transcript with the photos and documents of those messages.

Safe recipients

The recipient is the client's WhatsApp number when it is recorded, or the phone of the book only when it converts with certainty into a mobile number. A landline or an ambiguous number produces no WhatsApp message. When a file is settled, the prepared message is withdrawn and sending is refused.

Short messages, no double sending

Message templates are short and configurable, with fields such as the client, carrier, reference, amount and due date. If the confirmation of a send is lost, the message is marked to be checked and blocks any new attempt until a person verifies it, so a client never receives it twice.

Availability and limits

The WhatsApp connection is available for agencies on Covera's European setup; for US agencies, availability is confirmed with Covera. About three months of history are imported when the number is linked. Documents received on WhatsApp are not yet attached to a checklist automatically: the broker imports the conversation. Covera does not train any AI model on agency data.

Other integrations

Each reminder also exists as a draft in the broker's mailbox, through Gmail or Outlook.

Frequently asked questions

Does Covera Agents send WhatsApp messages on its own?

No. Covera Agents prepares each message; the broker reviews it, can edit it, and sends it with a click.

Can our colleagues see the WhatsApp conversations?

Yes. The number belongs to the agency, so every member can read and import its conversations in Covera Agents. That is why a dedicated business number is recommended.

What happens if the phone is turned off or replaced?

The link can drop. Covera Agents pauses WhatsApp reminders, and the QR code has to be scanned again.
